Episode 03: Farah Liz Pallaro

When you think of the fashion industry I’m sure the last thing that comes to your mind is spirituality. But what if the two were combined? So many individuals grow up wanting to be apart of this exciting industry, wanting to be the next big designer, stylist or icon, but many end up leaving the industry crushed, heartbroken and burnt out. Why? For an industry that is one of the largest in the world, why are people still being overworked, mistreated and straight out abused. Why are people still interested in working in this toxic industry? But what if the fashion industry changed its thinking and added a more healthier environment, like spirituality?

I’ve worked in the fashion industry for over 20 years and found myself falling out of love with an industry I was so deeply in love with for so many years. During my awakening and the questioning of my life, I stumbled across Farah Liz Pallaro, an expert in the fashion industry, doing just this, combining spirituality and fashion. After her burn out with the fashion industry, she decided it was time for a change and decided it was time to go her own way, teaching the fashion industry how to incorporate spiritual practices in their everyday lives but also in their businesses. She also wrote a book called “fashion.business.spirtiuality, a call to the light workers in the fashion industry.” I bought this book instantly, read it and then contacted Farah and asked if she would like to share her story and knowledge with us.

In this episode I have a conversation with Farah about her journey as a fashion expert, designer and educator, her spiritual journey, her tips on how to incorporate spirituality in your every day life and work and how’s she trying to change the face of the fashion industry. It’s a great episode!
