Episode 02: Colette Moran

Have you ever been in a low place where you feel lost, blocked or uninspired? You know you need to make a change, but you’re just not sure what to do or where to start? I know exactly how this feels. I was there. I knew I couldn’t go on feeling like shit anymore, but I had no idea where to start, who to ask for help or what kind of help I needed.

I finally made an appointment with my GP so I could get a referral to a therapist, but I knew finding an English speaking therapist here in Frankfurt where I am currently living was going to be hard. So I started my search. In the meantime I thought maybe a tarot card reading would get me on the right track. I’d had readings before and it was usually just the thing I needed. So I reached out to my instagram community and asked if anyone could recommend a good tarot card reader. I was lucky and had a few recommendations come back to me.

One of those recommendations was Colette Moran. Her daughter follows me on instagram and said to give her mom a go. She said her mom is really really good. So I made an appointment with Colette. I had my reading and after the reading she mentioned that she is also a therapist and that she would recommend I see someone and that if I felt comfortable she would be happy to take me on as a client. At that moment I found my therapist.

Colette Moran is not your traditional therapist. She’s not going to sit there and tick boxes while you spill your guts out to her. She challenges you, she asks you hard questions, she uses tarot/guidance cards, she uses her intuition to help guide you to your truer self.

On this week’s episode Colette and talk about her background, why she decided to become a therapist, therapy and spirituality and tips on personal growth and how she wants to change the face of counselling. It’s a good one!

Happy listening!
