In this week’s episode 04 I talk with Utsa De founder of The Practical Cook. Utsa created the Practical Cook out of necessity in 2020 during the pandemic. She was desperately missing home in India and the Bengali cuisine. She decided to create spice packets consisting of what you need to make a delicious Bengali dish. She also whole heartily believes in the healing properties of spices and creates fresh ground golden milk spice packets with turmeric and many other delicious spices and cold spice packs to kick your cold to the curb.

Before the pandemic she organised Indian cooking classes to bring people together. She’s a believer in community and hopes to bring women together in the new year for cooking, chatting and creating a community of trust, love and honesty.
